1953 Piaggio APE Calessino ABIT
1953 Piaggio APE 150cc Calessino AB1T, frame No 5570. This spectacular APE was originally used as a taxi servicing Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino (service documented by photos). Restored about ten years ago, from a private collection, certified by Piaggio Vintage “passenger version product” (NOT commercial version modified with Calessino!)
The first year of registration was documented in 1954, this vehicle includes the original GE registration plate and registration certificate. Extremely rare vehicle and suited to the high-end collection, fully functional, and a full set of photos and videos available upon request, but only offered to genuinely interested parties.
