Description
1984 Moto Guzzi V65TT
Inspiration for The V65TT can be directly attributed to the French Guzzi importer of the era, Seudem, who retrofitted a number of V50 Monza road bikes. Basically fitting larger fuel tanks and 21-inch front wheels, the bikes were entered into the 1979 Paris-Dakar.
Given the inherent strength of all the Guzzi models, the TT used the V65 frame and required minimal reworking. For reliability, the V65 2-valve engine with Heron heads & 30mm Dell ‘Orto’s was selected over the more troublesome 4-valve Lario power-plant. Marzocchi 42mm enduro front forks, dual rear shocks, and wire-spoked wheels make the V65TT a classic-looking enduro bike that presents fabulously in the red/white paint scheme.
