In 2007 Aprilia Racing followed KTM into producing \u2018Customer spec\u2019 factory race bikes for the World Supermotard Championship. Using knowledge from their factory racer, Tierry Van Den Bosch, the\u00a0Tierry Van Den Bosch\u00a0Replica RXV550 was created for only the most capable of riders.<\/p>\n

Only 50 bikes were built, each selling within hours of release for an amazing \u20ac20,000ea. (circa 33kAUD). Owing to demand Aprilia increased production to 80, buy how many survive today is unclear. The SXV 550 Van Den Bosch Replica\u2019s are built with extremely high-end components including a unique lightweight aluminium perimeter competition frame, lightweight swingarm, and heavily modified engine.<\/p>\n
