1979 Magni MV Agusta 861<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MV Agusta 861 Magni, or 861 Magni, is considered by most enthusiasts as the ultimate Magni, with exception to his World Championship race bikes of course. As a production model, most 861\u2019s started life as stock MV Agusta 750S\u2019, which then underwent transformation by the master craftsman, Arturo Magni.<\/p>\n

The MV frame was replaced by a ligther, more rigid Magni unit with chain-drive; the inline-four-cylinder engine was completely stripped and rebuilt with new high-compression pistons increasing swift capacity from 750cc to 861cc. Heads received higher lift camshafts, four Dellorto carbs, front and rear suspension replaced with higher performance units, and the original exhaust swapped out for those unbelievably gorgeous Conti pipes. Finishing was with or without a smaller fairing, smaller race seat and the iconic Magni fuel tank.<\/p>\n

This spectacular example is with our good friend and German agent Harald Turner. Renown MV specialist, Harald restored this bike circa 2015 and the bike has sat on display in a UK collection ever since, and still retains UK V5 registration.
