In typical Bimota fashion, the weight was also reduced to an incredible 167kg, a factor that no doubt helped a claimed top speed of 272KPH making the YB6 Tuatara the fastest production bike available.<\/p>\n<p>This extremely rare bike was purchased new by Reinhold Kraft, the German Bimota importer of the day and an absolute lover of the famous manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>FYI, the name Tuatara comes from a New Zealand reptile, famous for moving very slowly; clearly no shortage of humour in the little Rimini facility.<\/p>\n<p>Currently located with our German agent, contact for further information on price and shipping.
