1977 Rickman Honda CB1100R<\/strong><\/p>\n

The majority of Rickman motorcycles were built as kit bikes by their owners, but this extremely rare one owner example is special in that it was fully constructed by the Rickman factory, and has complete factory certification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Originally constructed to accept the traditional 750 SOHC engine, documents show a factory authorized modification of mounting plates to accept the later 1100R engine. The owner makes reference to Rickman having already produced mounting plates to suit the 900 Bol d’Or engine, which has the same mounting configuration as the CB1100R.<\/span><\/p>\n

As detailed in the pics, the bike has all its factory handbooks and papers, including the Honda CB1100R Owners handbook, and Rickman assembly & Parts catalogue. Beautifully original and unrestored this bike was built with an ultra-rare Egli-Sch\u00fcle 4-2-1 exhaust. A genuine collectible for any enthusiast or museum seeking sold investments.<\/span><\/p>\n
