In a straight line the Jota was capable of almost 225kph and clocked the quarter mile in around 12 seconds, rivalling and beating many of the Japanese machines that were commanding high-speed bragging rights at the time. However, unlike the Jap rockets a Jota actually handled and stopped.\u00a0\u00a0 With low set racing style handlebars and a rearward narrow seat to allow the rider to wrap himself around the sleek 20lt fuel tank. On the road the Jota has all the manners of a thoroughbred, and the acceleration of a dragster.<\/p>\n<p>As the pictures show this bike is an ideal restoration project, and priced accordingly.
