1995 Bimota BB1 Biposto SOLD

The Bimota BB1 was first released in 1994 and used the Rotax 652cc engine from BMW\u2019s F650 range. The BB1 was light, only 145kg dry, and was well fitted-out with carbon fibre guards & instrument cluster, fully adjustable 43mm Paioli forks & Paioli rear shock, a ridged lightweight oval-section aluminium frame, 33mm Mikuni BST carbs, and 320 Brembo discs and gold-line callipers.<\/p>\n

The BB1 also had the fuel tank well below the engine, one of the first manufacturers to do this and capitalise on the lower centre of gravity. Bimota produced a competition kit for the model which included electronic injection, magnesium wheels & higher-spec suspension, and the model was extremely successful in the Italian Supermono Championship.<\/p>\n

Only 148 Biposto\u2019s were produced making them one of the lowest production runs from the tiny Rimini factory.<\/p>\n
