Claudio Castiglioni and Ayrton Senna were not only close friends, but both shared a passion for absolute excellence, and both believed that success on the racetrack was the only way to achieve absolute excellence in engineering. In tribute to his dear friend and their shared values, Claudio commissioned what would become a very limited production (300) of his beautiful F4 750 bearing his late friends name, the F4 750 Senna.<\/p>\n

Based upon the higher-spec SPR version, each Senna featured a more powerful engine and stiffer chassis, better quality internal components, stronger pistons and lightened crankshaft. The MV F4 750 Senna produced 109kW (146bhp) from the higher revving engine, whilst handling was greatly improved from the use of lighter alloys and magnesium in the frame and many frame parts being reproduced in carbon-fibre. Suspension was significantly improved via fully adjustable 49mm diameter Ti-Nitride coated Showa forks with the unique quick-change axel. This excellence of design typifies the mutual desire of MV Agusta and the Senna Foundation to honour the Ayrton Senna legend.<\/p>\n

Whilst the F4 Senna is a tribute to the F1 legend, this particular example is also owned by a legend; Australia\u2019s own multiple WSBK & AMA Champion Troy Corser. Troy received this F4 from the Australian MV\/Cagiva distributor on 27 March 2002, and as the photos show it has been part of Troy\u2019s private collection. Retained in absolute showroom original condition thanks to being parked in a custom-made humidifier, this is most probably the most original F4 Senna any collector will find.<\/p>\n

With only 215k\u2019s on the clock this is arguably the most original example of the limited 300 worldwide build. This special bike is sold with a signed letter of authenticity, as well as a framed copy for display purposes, ensuring forever that build number 123 was supplied to Troy Corser.<\/p>\n
